About Elaine

Elaine Chaffer, the founder of “English Reading Made Easy With Kenneth”, is a passionate educator with a distinguished career that began in 1966.

Over the decades, Elaine’s teaching journey has taken her across:

• primary schools

• secondary schools

• vocational schools

• community adult education classes

 Her dedication to literacy and the teaching of English remains her passion, and she continues to inspire a love for reading through her work.

Elaine’s qualifications are extensive, include:

• Diploma of Teaching (Primary)

• Trained Teacher – Librarian Certificate

• Associate of the Australian Library and Information Association

• Bachelor of Education

• RSA/Cambridge Certificate

• Graduate Diploma in Visual and Performing Arts
   

A proud mother of three daughters and grandmother to eight grandchildren, Elaine finds immense joy and inspiration in her family, which has fuelled her commitment to education and lifelong learning.

Elaine hopes that her free, compact lessons in how to read English reach those who most value them.
