“Visualising English" Books 1 + 2

The English alphabet has twenty-six letters.
These 26 letters have both
short and long sounds known as phonics.

Step 1:   short vowels x 5

Step 2:  consonants x 21

12 colour- coded words with all 26 of these sounds are then introduced. Next comes the consonant digraphs with corresponding pictures.

Step 3:   consonant digraphs x 12

A story with many recognizable phonetic words is then musically drummed through to support the above written word.

Step 4:  long vowels x 5

and Step 5:  long vowel sounds x 34 come next; they have accompanying stories to challenge the readers.

“Kenneth’s English Sounds” is for anyone who wishes to learn to read in English.

Mastering these 5 + 21 + 12 + 5 + 34 sounds will open doors into the understanding and enjoyment of English literature.
